Our singles tour is based in Preston, a city located on the northern bank of the River Ribble that provides the perfect base to explore our carefully chosen excursions, which showcase the very best of the area. As with all of our singles tours, you can relax from the start, enjoying the company of new found friends, and let us take care of everything.

The Lake District is one of the country's most beloved scenic treasures. A verdant expanse of gently rolling hills set against a backdrop of soar mountain peaks, hidden lakes, and cascading waterfalls. Here you will have a chance to explore bustling lakeside towns, picture postcard stone-built villages, and view dramatic mountain passes, and some of the most beautiful scenery imaginable.
FULL DAY:
Liverpool's growing reputation as a must-visit cultural destination is richly deserved and here we give you a taste of what makes the city so special, by including a guided tour and a ride on the famous Mersey Ferry.
HALF DAY:
Today, there is the opportunity to relax and enjoy a cruise on the delightful River Lune, which offers a relaxing angle of the Lancashire scenery, and a visit to the small, but fascinating city of Lancaster

Joining Your Grand UK Coach Holiday
For 2024 we have introduced improvements to our network of local pick up points across the eastern, central and southern England, aimed at shortening your journey times and getting you away on holiday more easily and conveniently, meaning an altogether more relaxing start. We now have two pick up regions so your travel days will be more convenient, providing more efficient journeys, meeting your tour manager and fellow travellers earlier and in most cases arriving in resort earlier, please refer to our Pick-ups section below for more details.
The Tour Ref below indicates whether the tour departs from Area A or Area B by having either an A or B at the end. For example, GUK5A would be a tour departing from Area A.

Traveling from Departure Area A: Be picked up from your free local departure point, and join your tour coach at our interchange area at Northampton Services on the M11, at junction 15A.
Traveling from Departure Area B: Be picked up from your free local departure point, and join your tour coach at our interchange area at Beaconsfield Services, M40, junction 2.
