Description
Highlights: Edinburgh Tattoo, Moffat, Pitlochry, Loch Venacher, Callender, Queen's View, Loch Tummel, Aberfeldy, Glasgow, Trossachs National Park
First performed in 1950 as the army’s contribution to the Edinburgh Festival, the Military Tattoo has become a much-loved annual event, held for a period of three weeks in August on the floodlit Castle Esplanade. Whilst primarily a military display, it is a colourful and exciting performance by marching bands in a dramatic evening setting high above the city. Our seven day break includes the majesty
of the Tattoo with the contrasting scenery of the Highlands, the serenity of the Trossachs and the warmth of our friendly hotel in the centre of the Stirling.
