Description
HIGHLIGHTS: Ballater, Braemar, Drum Castle, Grantown-on-Spey, Speyside's Whisky Country, Royal Deeside scenery
To the east of the mighty Cairngorm Mountains, the mighty rivers Dee and Don meet the North Sea at the port city of Aberdeen. Known as the 'Granite City after its many significant grey-stone buildings and grand façades, it's a vibrant city with so much to explore - including excellent shopping, historic buildings, museums and galleries. It also happens to be a perfect base for exploring the rolling hills, pretty villages and proud granite-built towns of Royal Deeside, and the gentle valleys of Speyside with its world famous whisky distilleries.
**Please note it is a condition of travel with Grand UK, for all passengers to hold valid travel insurance for the duration of their tour.**
