Newquay - Lanyhydrock House Prideaux Place

Tuesday: Today we head for the magnificent late Victorian Lanhydrock House. We enjoy time at leisure exploring the beautiful gardens and the two sides of Victorian life in this stately home, from the “below stairs” kitchens, nurseries and servants’ quarters, to the luxurious family areas, elegant dining room and spacious bedrooms of “upstairs” living. In the afternoon, we visit Truro.

Wednesday: This morning we make our way to Padstow, where we spend time at leisure exploring this charming fishing port and famous foodie destination thanks to its reputation for fabulous seafood restaurants and links to the celebrity chef Rick Stein. In the afternoon, we visit Prideaux Place, a magnificent Elizabethan manor house perched above Padstow’s busy harbour. We enjoy a guided tour of the house and its rooms, which are in constant use by the family, before exploring the beautiful gardens at leisure and enjoying the views.

Thursday: Today is your free day to explore Newquay as you choose.

Friday: We bid a fond farewell to the hotel this morning as we make our back to Leicestershire, making adequate comfort stops as we go, arriving back to the Travel Centre late afternoon.Fistral Beach Hotel & Spa
