Description
Stroll through the red door at 23 Kirkgate and into the restored 1940s home and practice of James Herriot, author of the widely popular All Creatures Great and Small book series, in Thirsk. This award-winning museum offers a fascinating insight into the life of the legendary vet, plus a behind-the-scenes look at the beloved TV programme. Our celebration of all things Yorkshire continues with visits to the cathedral city of Ripon and the picture-perfect village of Haworth, the world-famous home of the Brontë sisters, as well as a relaxing cruise on the Leeds and Liverpool Canal through Skipton.
