Join us as we head to Harrogatge for our Late Summer All Features Great and Small Tour. Spend free time exploring the historic, cosmopolitan, spa town. Harrogate has been welcoming visitors since Victorian times and has so much to offer. On our tour we will visit some of Yorkshires finest attractions. Wander the growing landscapes of RHS Harlow Carr located within beautiful Yorkshire Countryside. Take a scenic journey to the traditional market town of Thirsk, with a magnificent backdrop of the Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors, combined with a visit to the home of James Herriot, Yorkshire’s most famous vet and a visit to the magnificent, historic city of York this makes for a great Yorkshire tour. Itinerary
Monday
Depart Leyland at 10.30am for our journey to Harrogate with a lunch stop in Skipton en-route, depart Skipton at 15.30, arrive at the hotel to welcome tea/coffee while your luggage is taken care of.
Tuesday - Thursday
Long Half Day - Visit to RHS Harlow Carr, Harrogate, return to the hotel mid-afternoon.
Long half day - Visit to Thirsk and The World of James Harriot, return to the hotel mid-afternoon.
Full day - Spend the day in the wonderful, historic city of York.
Friday
Check out of our hotel following a leisurely breakfast, spend a few hours in Harrogate allowing time for lunch or perhaps pre-book a trat at the famous Betty's Tea Rooms before we begin our journey home, depart Harrogate at 15:00hrs.
