Join us as we journey to view magnificent west coast scenery on this amazing Scottish island-hopping tour visiting the Isles of Bute, Mull, and Iona. Stay at two lovely hotels, firstly the impressive 4-star Glenburn Hotel in Rothesay on the Isle of Bute, a Victorian meets Art Deco style resort, the hotel offers fantastic views over the Firth of Clyde to the Kyles of Bute, includes a scenic tour of the island and a visit to Mount Stuart. Then on to the Isle of Mull Scotland’s Eagle Island home to the 4-starI sle of Mull Hotel and Spa, in a most spectacular location with panoramic sea views, includes a scenic journey around Mull with a visit to colourful Tobermory, take a foot passenger crossing to the Isle of Iona, the tiny Inner Hebridean island on the southwest coast of Mull, known as ‘The Cradle of Christianity’ in Scotland and burial place of 48 Scottish Kings. The wonderful ferry crossings on this tour are an appealing part of our island-hopping experience as they give an opportunity for wonderful panoramic views of the beautiful coastline and offshore islands. Itinerary
Thursday
Depart Leyland at 08.00am for our journey north to Scotland with a suitable lunch stop en-route, continue our journey to Wemyss Bay where will board a late afternoon ferry to the pretty Island of Bute, only 15 miles long and less than 2 miles wide, the island is our home for the next two nights, Check in at the Glenburn Hotel in the Victorian town of Rothesay.

Friday
Enjoy a relaxing morning in Rothesay followed by a scenic tour of the island with a visit to Mount Stuart, a flamboyant Victorian, Gothic style mansion with beautiful gardens within a 300-acre estate, continue around the island with photo stops at the stunning bays of Scalpsie and Ettrick.

Saturday
Check out of our hotel following breakfast for the short hop from Rhubodach to Colintraive. Journey further north with a stop in Inveraray then on to Oban for time at leisure before the crossing to Mull. Soak up some of the magnificent scenery of the island before arriving at the wonderful 4-star Isle of Mull Hotel and Spa Hotel, our home for the next two nights.

Sunday
Today we enjoy a scenic excursion around Mull with a visit to colourful Tobermory, our excursion today includes a foot passenger crossing the short distance across the Sound of Iona to the legendary Isle of Iona, burial place of 48 ancient Scottish kings, a packed lunch provided by the hotel to enjoy on out journey today.

Monday
Check out of our hotel following breakfast, take the return ferry from Mull to Oban, continue our journey south through Scotland to our overnight hotel The Golden Lion in Stirling with a suitable lunch stop en-route.

Tuesday
Check out of our overnight hotel following breakfast to continue our journey South through Scotland to home with a suitable lunch stop en-route as we bid farewell to Bonnie Scotland…..until next time.
