Join us as we head to Stirling the base for our Edinburgh Tattoo, Sail and Rail Tour. Explore historic Edinburgh, Scotland’s Capital, wander the compact centre to see World Heritage Sites, visit charming tea-rooms, restaurants and traditional pubs, soak up the festival atmosphere before you head to the castle for the highlight of your holiday, a magnificent evening performance of the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo with illuminated Edinburgh Castle as its backdrop, enjoy performances to take your breath away and leave you with lasting memories. Turn back time, sit back, and relax as we take a magical, scenic ten-mile return journey on the Bo’ness and Kinneil Railway along the Forth Estuary, through woodland, past waterfalls and over the Avon Viaduct. Travel through the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park to take a leisurely cruise from the bonnie banks of Loch Lomond. Don’t miss out on this marvellous Scottish tour that will leave you with memories to last a lifetime.
Itinerary
Sunday
Depart Leyland at 9am for our journey to Stirling with a suitable lunch stop en-route.

Monday - Wednesday

Following a leisurely morning of free time in Stirling join the coach back at the hotel mid-day to travel into Edinburgh where you will have free time to explore, soak up the festive atmosphere and perhaps have an early evening meal before we head up to the castle for the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo.

Following a leisurely breakfast we journey through The Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park to Luss on the Bonnie Banks of Loch Lomond to take a leisurely cruise of the Loch, past its magical islands surrounded by breath-taking beauty, journey back to the hotel for free time in Stirling.

Following breakfast head to Bo'ness where we take a nostalgic return journey on the Bo'ness and Kinneil Railway, in the afternoon we travel across the mighty Forth to visit Dunfermline, the historic, former capital of Scotland with a royal and monastic past.

Thursday
Check out of our hotel following breakfast for our return journey home with a suitable lunch stop en-route.
