Friday
Depart Leyland at 09.00hrs for our journey to Swindon, Wiltshire with a suitable lunch stop en-route.
Saturday
Following breakfast head into the Cotswolds to visit the magnificent Blenheim Palace, birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill and recent filming location for Bridgerton with a little free time in Woodstock with its fascinating collection of cafes, shops and galleries, on our return to the hotel visit to the picture-perfect, quintessentially English village of Brampton, Oxfordshire, one of the oldest villages in England and filming location for the hit series Downton Abbey.
Sunday
Following breakfast, we head to Stonehenge for a visit to the UK's mystical, heritage site to uncover 4,000 years of history, followed by free time in the wonderful, historic city of Salisbury, allowing time for lunch and to explore.
Monday
Following breakfast, we head to charming market town of Malmesbury, perhaps visit its stunning 12th Century Abbey or the free Athelstan Museum, browse quaint, charming streets and a thriving High Street, with a great mix of shops and cafes. In the afternoon travel over the county border to nearby Gloucestershire to visit Cirencester, the Capital of the Cotswolds. Perhaps visit the Roman Amphitheatre, Brewery Arts Centre of the Corinium Museum, with a wealth of places to eat and drink and a unique mix of shopping opportunities, there's something for everyone.
Tuesday
Check out of our hotel following breakfast for the return journey home with a suitable lunch stop en-route.
