Enjoy visits to Stirling Castle, one of Scotland’s grandest due to its imposing position and impressive architecture with scenery that will take your breath away and to the Scottish capital to visit Holyrood House, standing at the end of the Royal Mile, the King’s official residence in Edinburgh and the home of Scottish royal history. Step aboard the Royal Yacht Britannia, the former Royal Yacht of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, a royal residence for over 40 years, the yacht can be found berthed at Leith just two miles outside Edinburgh’s city centre. The Britannia sailed over 1,000,000 nautical miles on 968 state visits with the Royal family. A great historic tour not to be missed.
Itinerary
Monday:
Depart Leyland at 09:00am for our journey to Perth with a suitable lunch stop en-route. Arrive at the hotel to a warm Scottish welcome and a glass of fizz while your cases are taken to your room.

Tuesday - Thursday:
Free time at leisure in Perth with soup and sandwich lunch at the hotel with the following excursions:

Full day tour - travel through beautiful Scottish countryside to visit Stirling Castle, a great symbol of Scottish independence and a source of national pride. Step inside and discover its turbulent past associated with great figures such as William Wallace and Mary Queen of Scots with free time to explore Stirling. A packed lunch is provided by the hotel today.

Full day tour - take a trip to Scotland's capital to visit the Palace of Holyrood which sits against the magnificent backdrop of King Arthurs Seat, once the home of Mary Queen of Scots. Travel the short distance to Leith on the outskirts of the capital to step aboard the Royal Yacht Britannia, follow in the footsteps of royalty to discover the heart and sole of this most special of royal residences. A packed lunch is provided by the hotel today.

Friday:
Check out of our hotel following breakfast for our return journey home with a suitable lunch stop en-route.
