Join us as we head to County Offaly in the heart of Southern Ireland for our St Patrick’s Day in Southern Ireland Tour. Explore the picturesque heritage town of Birr, wander tree-lined avenues filled with elegant houses and buildings dating back to the Georgian era. The highlight of our tour is St Patrick’s Day, join us as we take part in this global celebration of Irish Culture, our destination this year is Galway City, join in the vibrant St Patrick’s Day celebrations and watch the St Patrick’s Day Parade as it makes its colourful way through the city. Included in this great tour is a visit to the Irish National Stud and Japanese Gardens with a guided tour, located in the heart of beautiful thoroughbred county in Co. Itinerary
Saturday:
Depart at 10.00hrs for our journey to Holyhead (with a suitable lunch stop en-route) board our Stena Line ferry, crossing to Dublin, continue our journey to the County Arms in Birr arriving to a warm Irish welcome, relax with a welcome tea/coffee as your bags are taken to your room.
Sunday (St. Patricks Day):
La fheile Padraig sona ahuit or Happy St. Patricks Day - following a leisurely breakfast join the coach as we journey to Galway City to join in the St Patricks Day celebrations.
Monday:
Free day today to relax, enjoy the hotels leisure facilities, wander the beautiful grounds and explore historic Birr. Join us for an Irish coffee making demo at the hotel today.
Tuesday:
Following breakfast, we head to Co. Kildare in thoroughbred county to visit the world famous Irish National Stud and Japanese Gardens.
Wednesday:
Check out of our hotel following breakfast, travel to Dublin where we will enjoy a little free time with time for lunch before boarding the ferry for our journey to Holyhead. Re-join the coach in Holyhead as we disembark to continue our journey home.
