Super Shrewsbury and Historic Shropshire

Join us as we head to the outskirts of Shrewsbury for our Super Shrewsbury and Historic Shropshire Tour. Spend free time in historic Shrewsbury nestled withing the River Severn loop, discover its warren of higgledy piggledy streets lined with magnificent architecture, steeped in history. Travel through glorious countryside to visit some of the most beautiful, historic towns and villages within the UK with visits to Much Wenlock, the stunning medieval town that played a major role in the revival of the Olympic Games, Ironbridge Village within the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ironbridge Gorge, and Bridgnorth, the town divided by the River Severn into High Town and Low Town, the two being linked by seven sets of ancient donkey steps and a Victorian Funicular, ride the Funicular railway to marvel at King Charles I’s ‘finest view’. Don’t miss out on this great tour that gives you a taste of what this wonderful county has to offer, includes a leisurely sail along the River Severn on Sabrina Boat and a visit to Shrewsbury Castle and the Soldiers of Shropshire Museum.Monday:
Depart Leyland at 9.30am for our journey to Shropshire with a suitable lunch stop en-route.

Tuesday:
Full day tour - following breakfast we travel the short distance into Shrewsbury for a morning sail on the River Severn on the Sabrina Boat, in the afternoon you will have time at leisure to explore Shrewsbury and find somewhere lovely for lunch.

Wednesday:
Full day tour - following a leisurely breakfast we take a scenic Shropshire journey, with a morning visit to the historic town of Much Wenlock with time for lunch, followed by an afternoon visit to Ironbridge.

Thursday:
Half day tour - this morning we spend free time at the hotel to explore the grounds, relax and enjoy the leisure facilities, late morning join the coach for a visit to Bridgnorth with time for lunch.

Friday:
