Lovely London Mini Break

Join us as we head to the capital for our lovely London Mini Break. Enjoy free time in the capital to do as you please from our beautiful 4-star hotel conveniently located just minutes away from the great shopping area of Kensington High Street and the underground. The area is a wonderful place to explore, feeling miles away from the busy streets of Central London yet not that far at all. Stroll through streets and back street mews lined with grand town houses with lovely bars, cafes, and restaurants along the way. The area is home to three of London’s best museums, markets, parks, The Royal Albert Hall and of course Kensington Palace and Gardens. You could spend your break just in Kensington and neighbouring Chelsea, Notting Hill, and Portobello Road, but Central London is just around the corner and too close to miss. Included is a scenic drive of London so that you can see some of the famous sights with a drop off at wonderfully central locations so that you can get the most out of your break, as we are bed and breakfast it will give you the opportunity to plan and make the most of your time here, perhaps book and afternoon tea, eat in some of the world’s best restaurants or visit authentic London pubs. Depart Leyland at 09:00am for our journey to London with a suitable lunch stop en-route, arrive in Kensington to check-in, the evening is yours to explore Kensington or perhaps catch the local tube or bus into Central London, the choice is yours. Why not pre-book a table at a local restaurant or in the city beforehand to secure a table and have something lovely to look forward to.

Sunday:
Following a leisurely breakfast board the coach as our driver takes you around the city to show you some of the famous sights including Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, The Houses of Parliament, The Tower of London, Harrods and much more, we will then drop you in a central location for you to explore the city, with time to visit its many attractions, have lunch and an evening meal. If you prefer to stay in Kensington and the local area that's fine too just let your driver know. If you're staying local perhaps visit the Natural History Museum or the V&A, walk through Kensington Gardens to Hyde Park, visit Kensington Palace.

Monday:
Check out of our hotel following breakfast, head back into Central London where we will drop you at Covent Garden, spend free time in this wonderful corner of London built around the historic Covent Garden Market, wander, or sit and people watch in the magnificent, traffic-free Piazza, you may even spot a celebrity or two. Enjoy the street entertainers, relax on heated terraces with a coffee or something stronger or visit one of its many shops, cafes, bars, and restaurants. Perhaps visit London's Transport Museum on the Piazza or browse colourful shops in trendy Neal's Yard one of the prettiest shopping areas of London. The area is also in walking distance from Leicester Square, Trafalgar Square, Cleopatra's Needle on the River Thames, all within a 10-minute walk.
