Spend free time exploring this coastal town with seven miles of sandy beach on an idyllic coastline, wander through beautiful gardens or take a walk along the front to enjoy the breathtaking coastal views across Bournemouth Bay. During our stay wander the Medieval city of Salisbury with a magnificent Cathedral at its heart containing the best preserved of the original four Magna Carta manuscripts dating from 1251AD. Travel to Shaftesbury, the small Dorset market town with a fascinating history that goes back to Saxon Times, home to Gold Hill, made famous in the Hovis advert. Travel on the Sandbanks Ferry to Swanage with a visit to see the Georgian grandeur of Weymouth, it’s pretty harbour and Blue Flag beach.Monday - Depart Leyland at 9:00 for our journey to Bournemouth with a suitable lunch stop en-route, a welcome tea/coffee awaits you on arrival at the hotel while your bags are taken to your room.

At leisure in Bournemouth, a day for you to explore or enjoy the facilities at the hotel or sister hotel Suncliff Hotel (next door), there is also a hot buffet lunch at the hotel today

Wednesday
Full day excursion - Morning visit to Salisbury, the cathedral city of ageless beauty, following lunch travel to Shaftesbury, steeped in history and tradition offering visitors breath taking views and the warmest of welcomes. There is a packed lunch from the hotel today.

Thursday
Full Day Excursion - Today we travel to board the sandbanks ferry to Swanage to visit the seaside resort of Weymouth, there is a packed lunch from the hotel today
