Join us as we head to Leicestershire for our Cosy Break at Sketchley Grange tour, in a great central location which allows us to arrange excursions in three different counties. Sketchley Grange is a grand country house ideally located near Leicester, the place where tourism began, spend free time uncovering the city’s historical past. For something different see amazing street art in the Cultural Quarter. Uncover 2000 years of history around Leicester’s Ancient Quarter, The Newarke. Leicester offers its visitors a great culinary scene from cosy coffee shops to the very best of restaurants, a foodie’s delight, maybe washed down with a local award-winning ale. Includes exciting visits to The Black Country Living Museum, The World of Wedgwood V&A Collection, The National Memorial Arboretum and the bustling historic town of Melton Mowbray, Town of Pies. Depart Leyland at 9.00am for our journey to Sketchley Grange with a stop at the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire en-route.

Friday
Half day tour - Following breakfast join the coach for a visit to historic Melton Mowbray in Leicestershire, the Town of Pies, famous for the Melton Mowbray Pork Pie and the centre of Stilton Cheese production, with time for lunch before heading back to spend a leisurely afternoon back at the hotel.

Saturday
Half day tour - Following breakfast we visit Leicester with time for lunch followed by an afternoon for you to relax and enjoy the leisure facilities back at the hotel.

Sunday
Full day tour - visit to the Black Country Museum in Dudley, West Midlands, experience sights, sounds, smells, and tastes of the Black Country as you explore shops, houses and industrial workshops re-built as a canalside village in this wonderful outdoor museum.

Monday
Check out of our hotel following breakfast with a visit to World of Wedgwood to view the V&A collection, with time to visit the shops and café, before continuing our journey home.Sketchley Grange Hotel and Spa.
