Join us as we head to Devon's English Riviera for our Devon in Springtime Tour. There's no better time to visit Devon as it awakens for Spring in the mild climate. Spend free time in our base, Paignton, with its long stretch of beautiful and accessible seafront, promenade and traditional pier. Enjoy free time along the coast in Torquay, a traditional yet thriving seaside town with iconic palm trees, horse-shoe shaped bay and an array of cafes, restaurants and cocktail bars to discover. For all the crime fans out there enjoy a visit to Greenways House, overlooking the most stunning views of the River Dart, once the holiday home of famous crime writer Agatha Christie, arrive at Greenways House by a scenic River Dart ferry on the Christie Belle from picturesque Dartmouth. Itinerary
Monday:
Depart from Leyland at 8:00AM for our journey to Paignton with a suitable lunch stop en-route.
Tuesday - Thursday:
Free Day to explore Paignton.
Full Day- Following breakfast we travel via Totnes to Dartmouth Town Pontoon to catch the Greenway and Dittisham Ferry to Greenway House, once holiday home to Agatha Christie and her family, returning to Dartmouth Town Pontoon by ferry, allowing some free time in Dartmouth on our return.
Following breakfast we travel along the coast to spend a day in Torquay allowing time for a leisurely lunch, returning to the hotel mid-afternoon.
Friday:
Check out of the hotel following breakfast, for our return journey home with a suitable lunch stop en-route.
