Join us as we head to Paignton on Devon’s English Riviera for our Devon Delights Tour. The mild climate makes April a wonderful time to visit this beautiful area as it awakens for Spring. Spend free time exploring Paignton with its long stretch of beautiful and accessible seafront, promenade, iconic palm trees and traditional pier. Journey into Dartmoor National Park for a day of tranquility and history on a visit to Medieval Buckland Abbey, uncover fascinating tales spanning eight centuries. Visit the colourful, picturesque harbour town of Brixham, filled with tales of piracy, smugglers, and maritime heritage. Travel to the edge of the Exmoor National Park in the heart of the Devon countryside to visit Quince Honey Farm where we will have a guided tour and enjoy a scrumptious Devon Cream Tea. Don’t miss out on Devon Delights, the area will leave you wanting more.
Itinerary
Monday:
Depart Leyland at 08.00am for our journey to Paignton with a suitable lunch stop en-route.
Tuesday - Friday:
Free time in the resort with the following excursions:
Travel along the coast to spend free time in Brixham, the picturesque, quaint harbour town with lots to offer and freshly caught, high quality seafood is on the menu everywhere, allowing time for a leisurely lunch before returning to the hotel.
Morning free in Paignton, join the coach at noon as we journey into the heart of Devon countryside for a visit to Quince Honey Farm, enjoy a guided tour followed by a scrumptious Devon Cream Tea.
Morning visit to Buckland Abbey on the edge of the Exmoor National Park, return to the hotel mid-afternoon for free time in the resort.
Saturday:
Check out of our hotel following breakfast for the return journey home with a suitable lunch stop en-route.
