Itinerary
Ironbridge
After a leisurely breakfast on 'Christmas Eve', we leave for a full day excursion to the impressive Ironbridge Gorge, where the world's first iron bridge forms the centre of this World Heritage Site. Please note: The Museum of the Gorge is currently closed. You will have time to explore the village and obtain lunch before we make our way back to the hotel, where a pre-dinner glass of sherry will be waiting.
Llandudno
On 'Christmas Day' we visit Llandudno, the 'Queen of Welsh Resorts'! This elegant seaside town boasts an immaculate seafront, protected from the elements by two headlands, and a pretty town centre blessed with a variety of shops and tempting eateries. We return to the hotel in time for dinner and a visit from Santa Claus!
Chester
'New Year's Eve' includes a day out to the historic city of Chester. You may wish to walk the city walls, relax with a river cruise or explore the 'Rows', a famous two-tiered medieval shopping complex, dating back to the Middle Ages! A complimentary Bucks' Fizz is included before dinner this evening.
