Itinerary
Monday
Depart Leyland at 09.30hrs for our journey to Stirling with a suitable lunch stop en-route.

Tuesday
Today's excursion begins with a drive across the Kincardine Bridge to visit the village of Culross (pronounced Cooross). Culross is the nearest thing you will find to a 16th-century time capsule anywhere in Scotland. It is as if much of the core of the village was simply frozen in time. The village is now in the care of the National Trust for Scotland, you will have free time for photo opportunities and to explore this 'wee gem'. Later we drive across the iconic Forth Bridge to the harbourside where we will board a boat for a 90minute cruise. This wonderful sightseeing cruise allows us to view Edinburgh's iconic Three Bridges from the water with a chance to spot the nature of the Forth.

Wednesday
Today we enjoy a free day in Stirling, perhaps spend the morning at leisure at the hotel, making use of the leisure facilities or explore Stirling, it's magnificent Castle standing high on volcanic rock at the head of the Old Town is worth a visit, other attractions include The Great Hall, Chapel Royal, Great Kitchens, and the stunning Renaissance Royal Palace. Nearby is the Church of the Holy Rude (Holy Cross), worth a look for the magnificent stained glass.

Thursday
Todays excursion takes us to the Scottish capital, Edinburgh, where you have the whole day free to explore. There's lots to see and do including The Castle, The Royal Mile, Hollyrood Palace and the Old Town, including Greyfriars Kirkyard where the statue of Greyfriars Bobby can be found, places here to remember the city's most famous and loyal Skye Terrier.

Friday
Check out of our hotel following breakfast for the return journey home with a suitable lunch stop en-route
