Join us as we head to St Mary’s for our Isles of Scilly and Penzance tour. Depart Leyland at 08.00hrs for our journey to Cornwall and our overnight stay at the Queens Hotel in Penzance with a suitable lunch stop en-route.

Thursday
This morning following breakfast our guests and driver board the ferry to St Mary's as foot passengers (no tourist coaches on the island) to make the journey to the Scilly Isles, enjoy the views and watch out for local wildlife on this wonderful journey. On arrival in St Mary, we have a 5-minute walk from the harbour to the Bell Rock Hotel while our luggage is transferred by a local operator to the hotel for us. Enjoy an afternoon at leisure before our evening meal.

Friday
Following breakfast enjoy an introductory guided tour of St Mary's with a local coach operator. Commentary will provide an insight to life on this, the largest island in the archipelago. The rest of the day can be spent at leisure relaxing with a book, a walk along the beach, wild swimming for the brave or making use of the hotels pool Or take a walk over to The Old Town Inn, St Mary's Premier Arts and Music Venue, see what's on while you here.

Saturday
Spend the day exploring Hugh Town, the island's capital, situated between the two beaches, home to a variety of shops, arts and craft galleries and restaurants. Enjoy a stroll along the Garrison Walls high above the town or simply relax on Porthcressa or Town Beach.

Sunday,
Enjoy another day of relaxation and leisure, enjoy the nature trails and coastal paths of St Mary's or perhaps book a boat trip to The Island of Tresco, with a population of just 165 people, Tresco's main inhabitants are the birds, the other island gem is The Abbey Garden home to 20,000 exotic species of plants, a variety of which can't be grown anywhere else in Britain.

Monday
Sadly, it's time to pack your book and leave the peace and tranquillity of the island behind, but not before enjoying the island one last time, check out of our island haven following breakfast, we do have to check out of the hotel by 10.00am, but are welcome to use the hotels facilities until our actual departure time from the island, why not go for a swim, take a last walk along the nature trails or the beach or visit the iconic Mermaid Inn, less than a 10min walk from the Bell Rock Hotel, at the entrance to the harbour serving wonderful dishes from sea and land from 12noon but opens at 11.00am. Our luggage will be transferred by a local operator to the ferry. Board the Isle of Scilly Steamship for our return to Penzance. Back on the mainland we check in to our overnight hotel in time to enjoy an evening meal.

Tuesday
