Join us as we head to Cardiff for our Royal Mint, Wye Valley, and Cityscapes tour. Travel through changing landscapes of the beautiful Welsh countryside, Forest of Dean and the Wye Valley to visit wonderful historic towns. Take a leisurely cruise on the River Wye from Symonds Yat, sit back, relax, and soak up the surrounding sights as we sail through a wonderful area of outstanding beauty. Discover the story of the coin from Blank to Bank on a visit to The Royal Mint. With visits to the Welsh capital, Cardiff, bustling with exciting attractions, a great shopping, food, and drink scene and to the historic maritime city of Bristol, home to Brunel’s SS Great Britain and the magnificent Clifton Suspension Bridge, this makes for a great tour. Don’t miss out on this wonderful Welsh experience.
Itinerary
Monday
Depart Leyland at 09.00hrs for our journey to Cardiff with a suitable lunch stop en-route. Arrive at the hotel to a warm Welsh welcome with tea/coffee and biscuits while our luggage is taken care of.

Tuesday
Today's excursion takes us on a journey along the beautiful Wye Valley to historic Monmouth, here we take a short break. Continue our journey to Symonds Yat where we enjoy a River Wye cruise, following our cruise travel to Ross-on-Wye where we will have time to explore allowing time for lunch. Return through the Forest of Dean to Lyndney and Chepstow where we make our final stop of the day before returning to the hotel.

Wednesday
Today our excursion takes us to the magnificent city of Bristol where we have a free day to explore this historic maritime city, home of Brunel's wonderful ship the SS Great Britain and the Clifton Suspension Bridge, perhaps make a visit to these wonderful attraction. Discover the city's history from Blackbeard to Banksy. Bristol has many opportunities in the city centre and around the harbour to relax and get a drink and a bite to eat with a wonderful foodie scene to suite every palate and pocket. A great city for any shoppers with us, you can shop until you drop with a choice of many independent and high street favourites. Spend a great day in this sometimes forgotten, underestimated city, you'll be surprised how much it has to offer its visitor, a day certainly won't be enough and will leave you wanting more.

Thursday
Following a leisurely breakfast we head to the wonderful Royal Mint Experience at Llantrisant where we discover the story of the coins we use each day from Blank to Bank. In tne afternoon we journey back to visit the cosmopolitan city of Cardiff, with lots to offer it's visitor from the castle, to museums and magnificent arcades and a lovely rejuvenated Cardiff Bay area offering boat trips, cafes and bars.

Friday
Check out of our hotel following breakfast for our return journey home with a suitable lunch stop en-route.
