Christmas in Lincolnshire

Join us as we head to Scunthorpe for our Christmas in Lincolnshire tour, enjoy a great festive food, drink and entertainment package on this wonderful Christmas holiday Nestled within 190 acres of woodland the Forest Pines is a great place to unwind and relax. Enjoy free time in the resort to explore the grounds and make use of the leisure facilities and Christmas package. During our stay we will take a scenic drive through the Lincolnshire Wold’s to visit the picturesque town of Louth and a visit to historic, maritime Kingston-Upon-Hull, perhaps pick up a bargain in the Boxing Day sales.

Depart Leyland at 10:30am for our journey to the Forest Pines Hotel with a suitable lunch stop en-route. Arrive at our hotel to a festive welcome of tea/coffee and mince pies.

Sunday - Christmas Eve:
Half day - Take a scenic drive through the Lincolnshire Wold's with a stop in Louth, perhaps visit the magnificent St James's Church, the interior is fascinating and well worth a look around. Details of nearby church services are available from reception for those wishing to attend Midnight Mass this evening, for those who do attend mass on your return enjoy tea/coffee and mice pies. Sleep well and don't forget to let us know in the morning if you heard bells jingling.

Monday - Christmas Day:
Enjoy a hearty breakfast. Spend the rest of the morning relaxing and opening presents. In the afternoon there will be a welcome glass of fizz followed by a three-course traditional plated Christmas lunch, the rest of the afternoon is your own perhaps watch the King's speech at 3pm with tea/coffee and Christmas cake in the bar. The evening meal if you have room is a relaxed affair with casual grazing boards.

Tuesday - Boxing Day:
Half Day - Visit historic Kingston-Upon-Hull, the city with a maritime past and great shopping and café scene, perhaps hit the shops and grab yourself a bargain in the sales.

Wednesday:
