Join us as we take a wonderful journey to Italy for our Christmas in Riva Del Garda tour. Get into the Christmas spirit Italian style with daily live music and dancing and wonderful festive fayre. Relax as we take an overnight ferry with bed and meals onboard to Rotterdam where you will disembark refreshed for our journey to our overnight hotel in Germany, from there we enjoy wonderful views as we travel through Austria and around Innsbruck before traversing the Brenner Pass to arrive in Italy and beautiful Riva Del Garda nestled at the northern tip of the lake at the foot of the Brenta Dolomites. The area offers contrasting landscapes from rolling hills and vineyards to the south to mountains and olive groves in the north, a wonderful base for us to explore the region. Included in the tour are visits to Christmas markets filled with Italian delicacies. Visit historic Verona, the City of Love with a two hour guided walking tour to enhance your visit. Take a scenic tour of the Valley of the Lakes and Brenta Nature Park. Journey to the southern shores of Lake Garda with a visit to the picturesque town of Sirmione. Depart Leyland at 14:00 for our journey to Hull where we will board our overnight ferry to take us across to Rotterdam, once onboard disembark the coach (we suggest taking an overnight bag so that your main case can be left on the coach, make sure you pack essentials, medication etc in your overnight bag). We will have dinner onboard the ferry before retiring to your cabin for the night.

Thursday 21st
Following breakfast on-board the ferry, re-join the coach to continue our journey with a suitable lunch stop en-route before arriving at our overnight hotel in the leafy outskirts of Sindelfingen near Stuttgart, arriving in time for our evening meal

Friday 22nd
Check out of our overnight hotel following breakfast to continue our journey through Germany into Austria and around Innsbruck before traversing the spectacular Brenner Pass to arrive in Italy. Arrive at the hotel to a welcome drink while your bags are taken to your room. This evening will be a set 4-course evening meal. There is also live music and dancing in the piano bar.

Saturday 23rd
Following breakfast we travel to Verona, with a two hour guided walking tour in the morning to enhance our visit, the rest of the day will be yours at leisure to explore the historic city famed for its setting in Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet and its Roman amphitheatre. Christmas is a great time to visit Verona for some last-minute Christmas shopping or to soak up the festive atmosphere as the Christmas Market and beautiful decorations adorn the city, especially in Piazza dei Signori. Enjoy a memorable day in the City of Love. This evening we have a 4-course evening meal with salad buffet. There is also live music and dancing in the piano bar.

Sunday 24th (Christmas Eve - Vigilia di Natale)
Following breakfast we take a scenic tour of The Valley of the Lakes and Brenta Nature Park including Canale, and Lake Toblino with stops for photo opportunities. Enjoy this panoramic tour with breath-taking views. During the tour we will stop in Trento, stroll between stalls of picturesque wooden huts across two Piazzas filled with wonderful delicacies of Trentino, visit the nativity scene in Piazza Duomo, Trento has earned its title as Citta Del Natale - Christmas Town. Back at the hotel enjoy a drink and aperitif before our 4-course evening meal with salad buffet. Join us for the great Italian tradition of Panettone and Champagne under the Christmas tree this evening. There is also live music and dancing in the piano bar.

Monday 25th (Christmas Day - Natale)
Buon Natale. Following a leisurely breakfast, relax and enjoy the day. Today's festivities include a wonderful 5-course Christmas lunch. This evening the celebrations continue with a 4-course evening meal with salad buffet (if you have room) with music and dancing.

Tuesday 26th (Boxing Day - Festa di Santo Stefano)
Following breakfast join us as we travel to the southern shores of Lake Garda to explore the picturesque town of Sirmione, spend free time relaxing, enjoying the amazing views and exploring this charming historic town filled with wonderful architecture. This truly is a beautiful part of Italy.


Wednesday 27th
Check out of our hotel following breakfast to bid a fond farewell to our hosts and Italy, travel back through Italy into Austria enjoying the Alpine views along the way. Continue our journey into Germany to our overnight hotel in Sindelfingen on the leafy outskirts of Stuttgart arriving in time for our evening meal.

Thursday 28th
Check out of our overnight hotel following breakfast to continue our journey to board the ferry in Rotterdam with suitable stops along the way. Once onboard the ferry disembark the coach (don't forget your overnight bag) we will enjoy an evening meal onboard before retiring to our cabins.

Friday 29th
