Itinerary
Day 1
After joining the coach, we make our way to our hotel and check in.

Day 2 – Rye & Hastings
This morning we head to the ancient hilltop town of Rye. With its historic charm and crooked Tudor buildings, it is no wonder that this treasure regularly attracts visitors. Stroll along the sloping lanes dotted with cosy pubs, independent boutiques and contemporary restaurants, discover secret passages which were once the haunt of smugglers, or head to St Mary’s Church tower to enjoy the lovely views, dominated by the terracotta roofs of Rye’s many timbered houses.
We then head to the coastal town of Hastings; part of the famous 1066 Country, it is home to Sussex’s finest countryside and coastlines as well as some of the most historic sites in the UK. Here we find the remains of the first castle to be built in England by William the Conqueror and wander through the preserved Old Town with its winding narrow streets.

Day 3 – Canterbury
Today we visit the spellbinding city of Canterbury, home to the oldest cathedral in England, dating back to Norman times. There is plenty to explore within the city’s medieval walls, from quaint cobbled lanes and beautiful buildings to a bustling shopping centre.

Day 4
After breakfast, we check out of our hotel and head home.
