Description
Our day begins with a visit to Chorley’s famous market, which dates back as far as 1498. Today the market runs along Fazakerley Street, a tree-lined pedestrianised area in the heart of town. This afternoon, we head to Astley Hall, which after two years of renovation work is now open to the public. First opened as a museum in 1924, Astley Hall, Coach House & Park is a beautiful tourist spot located next to Chorley town centre. Within the grounds, you will find acres of stunning parkland, the breathtaking Grade I historic house, the modernised Coach House which includes Café Ambio, the scenic Walled Garden, and the exciting Pets Corner (entry included).
