Description
Sidmouth is really the 'Jewel of Devon', a popular, charming and unspoilt seaside resort nestling in an Area of Outstanding Beauty on the Jurassic Coast.
This Regency town has it all, from beautiful gardens to friendly independent shops, it's no wonder it captivated the Poet Laureate, John Betjeman, who described it as “A town caught still in timeless charm”.
Itinerary
Tuesday: We depart the Travel Centre this morning and make our way to Sidmouth with a stop en route. We aim to arrive at the hotel late afternoon.

Wednesday: This morning we visit the seaside town of Torquay. Its iconic palm trees and international marina could fool you into thinking that you’re in Monaco. Stroll along the Victorian promenade and take in the harbour and waterfront or walk up through Royal Terrace Gardens and be amazed by the stunning sea views. With fantastic shopping and many cafes, Torquay does really have something for everybody.

Thursday: Today we board the coach for a trip to Tiverton for "A little bit of Heaven in Devon", where we take a ride on a Horse-Drawn Barge, one of the last remaining horse-drawn barges in the UK. This trip offers a truly unique and memorable experience of yesteryear.

Friday: Today is your free day in Sidmouth to do as you choose.

Saturday: We bid a fond farewell to the hotel staff as we head back this morning to Hugglescote, arriving back late afternoon.
