Description
Sidmouth is really the 'Jewel of Devon', a popular, charming and unspoilt seaside resort nestling in an Area of Outstanding Beauty on the Jurassic Coast.
This Regency town has it all, from beautiful gardens to friendly independent shops, it's no wonder it captivated the Poet Laureate, John Betjeman, who described it as 'A town caught still in timeless charm'.
Itinerary
Sunday: We depart the Travel Centre this morning and make our way to Sidmouth with a stop en route, arriving at the hotel late afternoon.

Monday: This morning we board the coach for a scenic tour, starting with a coffee stop at the House of Marbles. We then head across open moorlands through Dartmoor to Princetown. On our return journey back to the hotel we will stop at the 12th Century Buckfast Abbey.

Tuesday: Today we discover Knightshayes, a great post-war garden, 19th-century parkland and grand Gothic Revival architecture by Victorian visionary William Burges.

Wednesday: Today is your free day to explore Sidmouth as you choose. Part of the world Heritage ‘Jurassic Coast’, this beautiful seaside resort is both picturesque and unspoilt.

Thursday: We bid a fond farewell to the hotel staff this morning as we make our way back to Hugglescote, with a stop en route, arriving back late afternoon.
