Bournemouth, Christchurch and Lulworth Castle & Cove

Bournemouth, boasting seven miles of golden beach and clear blue sea, is a vibrant cosmopolitan town that has it all. Situated in the heart of Dorset on the south coast, it has one of this country's warmest climates. It is an ideal location to explore the surrounding locations, much of which boast areas of outstanding natural beauty.Monday: We depart the Travel Centre this morning and make our way to Bournemouth with a stop en route.

Tuesday: Today we visit nearby Christchurch, an historic town, before enjoying the beautiful villages of the New Forest National Park.

Wednesday: Today we visit Lulworth Castle. This magnificent building is steeped in history. Originally built as a hunting lodge to entertain aristocracy and royalty, it was for centuries the family seat of the Weld family, the current owners of the Lulworth Estate. Ravaged by fire in 1929, it has been partly restored in a pioneering partnership with English Heritage. Visit the Roman Catholic Chapel and the Church of St Andrew. After, we visit Lulworth Cove before returning to the hotel.

Thursday: Today is your free day to explore Bournemouth as you choose.

Friday: We bid a fond farewell to the hotel staff as we head back to Hugglescote today.Marsham Court Hotel
