Itinerary
Lyme Park
Sit back and relax as we make the scenic journey through the north of the Peak District, passing through Glossop before heading along Snake Pass, arguably one of the most scenic routes in England. This takes us to the Ladybower Reservoir before we head towards Castleton. We stop here for time free to explore and have a bite to eat. This afternoon takes us to the fantastic Lyme Park, and its house, gardens & deer park, which was the backdrop for BBC's Pride and Prejudice. Step back in time to the Regency era, enjoy lavish interiors, try out the billiards table in the Long Gallery or read a book in the library.

World of Wedgwood
Our first stop is the Astbury Meadow Garden Centre where we can have a look around the plants and homewares, or just enjoy a hot drink in the café to start the morning relaxed. Later, we visit the World of Wedgwood Visitor's Centre where we include Afternoon Tea. The rest of the day is yours to guide yourself through the museum and factory to see craftsmen at work in Britain's greatest luxury ceramic company, utilising techniques honed over 250 years at Barlaston.

Buxton & Bakewell
We travel through the heart of the Peak District, passing by the quaint villages of Sparrowpit, Tideswell and Baslow, arriving at the market town of Bakewell for lunch, home of the famous Bakewell pudding and tart. Later, we travel to Buxton, a spa town with delightful gardens and magnificent historic buildings.
