Itinerary
Aberfeldy
Our day begins with a scenic drive along Glen Dochart to Killin, with the Falls of Dochart rushing through the village. From here we drive along Loch Tay for a lunch break in Aberfeldy, first made famous by the Robert Burns poem 'The Birks of Aberfeldy.' This afternoon we head south along the Sma' Glen to Crieff, for a tour and wee dram at Glenturret Distillery. Our return to the hotel takes us along Loch Earn and Glen Ogle to Crianlarich.

Hollow Mountain
This morning we take a journey into Ben Cruachan Mountain and discover the subterranean world of Cruachan Power Station and the power-generating turbines hidden deep within. Uncover the history of the epic tunnel and the brave team that drilled and blasted it, then enjoy the stunning views of Loch Awe from the Visitor Centre. Please note: tours of the Hollow Mountain and Cruachan Power Station are unsuitable for wheelchair users and for persons with limited mobility. From here we head to Fort William, for some time free in this popular town, with its dramatic setting on the shores of Loch Linnhe under the mighty bulk of Ben Nevis. Our day ends with a visit to Glencoe Visitor's Centre, where you can learn about the feuding clans and infamous massacre.

Rail to Oban
We join the Scotrail train at Crianlarich station for a ride to Oban. The route takes us through the Pass of Brander and alongside the attractive Loch Etive. In Oban, we have some free time to explore the town, have a bite to eat and relax around the harbour, returning to our hotel by train later on.
