Day one takes us to Perth for an overnight stay at the Salutation Hotel and on day two we continue north to Thurso for three nights at the Castletown Hotel.

Orkney
We set sail from Gills Hope to St Margaret's Bay on Orkney and embark on a tour of this wonderful island with a local guide. You will see the Italian Chapel, the Churchill Barriers, the Ring of Brodgar, Skara Brae Prehistoric Village and Scapa Flow, plus the opportunity to have lunch in Kirkwall, Orkney's largest town.

Castle of Mey
We head to the Castle of Mey, the much-adored home of the late Queen Mother. Prepare for a unique look into royal family life as you explore this magnificent 16-century Castle, in addition to the tranquil gardens and grounds, including the Animal Centre and Visitor's Centre.

John O'Groats
No visit to this area would be complete without calling at John O'Groats, the most northernly point of mainland Britain. This small coastal village is the starting point for many embarking on the famous 'End to End' journey to Land's End, some 876 miles away.Our Hotels

Our overnight hotel will be ideally located for our route and will offer comfortable, en-suite accommodation, restaurant, and bar. There will be a lift, or ground floor bedrooms available on request.

Castletown Hotel, Thurso - 4 nights
This friendly family-run hotel is nestled in the curve of Dunnet Bay, within the picturesque fishing village of Castletown, and provides a restaurant, snack bar and Wi-Fi. All bedrooms are en-suite and have a TV, safe, and tea & coffee making facilities. This hotel has a lift.
