Lavishly designed gardens and the 19th century house at the Irish seat of the renowned and influential Stewart family, provide one of the most spectacular gardens in western Europe, with exceptional plant collections earning world-class status and a listing on UNESCO's Heritage tentative list. The estate includes farmland, woodland, orchards and walled gardens including The Sunk Garden, Shamrock Garden, The Italian Garden, The Dodo Terrace, and Spanish Garden, as well as five and a half miles of walking trails, through magical woodland landscapes.
Tracey's Farmhouse
Arrive to 'make a friend, not just bread' on Tracey's Farmhouse Kitchen workshop experience! Tracey will give you a fine Irish welcome to her 17th Century Farmhouse with freshly baked breads, sweet treats, tea and coffee before an expert demonstration and tour. Tie your apron strings and get stuck in to make local Northern Irish breads, using only the finest locally sourced seasonal ingredients form Tracey's own garden, which you will be able to bake and sample! Tyrone Crafted Glass 'Cut & Keep' Workshop - Uncover County Tyrone's pioneering legacy in glass work with former staff of the famous Tyrone Crystal factory at their artisan craft studio. Reveal the intriguing stories behind the rise and fall of Tyrone Crystal in an introductory talk, and hear how the local priest was the mastermind behind the business development. Try your hand at marking and cutting glass in a practical workshop where you'll create your own take-home souvenir.

With botanicals sourced from Mount Stewart gardens, experience the fine art of gin making and perhaps taste an aromatic drop or two on a tour at award-winning, state-of-the-art, Echlinville Distillery! Echinville, Ireland's only 'field-to-glass' distillery, is at the forefront of Ireland's spirits renaissance, with the capacity to produce around 15,000 bottles of whiskey, gin, vodka and poitÃn each week, distilled from barley grown and harvested from their own fields.
