Itinerary
Portmeirion
Enjoy a visit to Portmeirion Village on the shores of Cardigan Bay (entry included). Designed by Sir Clough Ellis Williams between 1925 and 1975 in the style of an Italian village, Portmeirion is well known as the setting of the 1960's cult TV series 'The Prisoner.'

Bala Lake Railway
Enjoy a ride along the whole length of this beautiful lake on the diminutive Bala Lake Railway before we head to Betws-y-Coed for a little free time to explore. This magical setting has a distictling Alpine feel, enhanced by the dense Gywdyr Forest surorunding Betws-y-Coed.

Llanberis
We join the Llanberis Lake Railway for a relaxing ride along the lake shore, followed by a leisurely afternoon in Llanberis village.

Welsh Highland
Sit back, relax and enjoy views of stunning mountains, tranquil pastures, magnificent forests and beautiful lakes as we glide along the Welsh Highland Line, taking us through Beddgelert to Caernarfon.

Ffestiniog Railway
We journey to Blaenau Ffestiniog where we catch the Ffestiniog Railway for an exhilarating ride across the mountains, descending to the sea at Porthmadog where you will have some time to enjoy a bite to eat.

2024 only
Snowdon Mountain Railway - We board the Snowdon Mountain Railway for an awe-inspiring journey to the Summit of Snowdon. A 30-minute stopover at the summit allows you to browse the gift shop, enjoy a snack from the Summit Café, and take in the views across to Ireland. You can even purchase a postcard from Summit of Snowdon, and send it from the Summit post box! Please note: Trains cannot proceed all the way to the Summit if weather conditions become severe i.e. high winds or snow/ice on the track. In such cases, trains will terminate at Rocky Valley which is 5/8 of the way to the Summit.
