Scousers are justifiably proud of their city with its musical legacy, transformed centre, famous ferry 'cross the Mersey and regenerated docks. There are many innovative museums and galleries to visit as well as a cathedral (and one to spare!). Liverpool city centre is often referred to in 'quarters' from the Georgian Quarter to bohemian Ropewalks, Chinatown to the Baltic Triangle, the Waterfront to the Cavern Quarter. There is a regular hop on, hop off city explorer sightseeing bus (not included) with bus stops located near the main sights,\n\nINCLUDED EXCURSIONS\nPort Sunlight Village & Chester\nHop on the 'must-do' experience, the 'Ferry 'cross the Mersey' from Liverpool to Wallasey (20 mins) with incredible views of Liverpool's UNESCO Waterfront and city skyline. Your coach will meet you on the other side for a visit to 'Soap King' William Hesketh Lever's idyllic Port Sunlight Village for a fascinating insight into life in the late 1800s. The village was constructed as a home for workers at his soap factory, Lever Brothers, and over 30 architects helped create his vision. What set Port Sunlight apart was its low-density housing and radical emphasis on beauty, from varied English architecture to picturesque landscapes and parks. Entrance is included to the award-winning museum which tells the village's inspiring story, and the recreated Worker's Cottage filled with stories of times gone by\n\nWhen it comes to beautiful cities, Chester is one of the best and should be on every one's wish list! This afternoon, head to Chester with its unique atmosphere and sense of history. Founded by the Romans over 2000 years ago, much of the Roman influence remains, and Chester's city walls are the most complete in Britain. In every corner of the city, you are confronted with history - from the oldest racecourse to the largest Roman Amphitheatre in Britain, from the 1000-year-old cathedral to the 700-year-old unique shopping rows. As well as having so much history and heritage, Chester is a vibrant, dynamic city full of restaurants, bars, pubs, clubs, hotels, and of course, the River Dee.\n\nTatton Park\nTravel to magnificent Tatton Park, one of the UK's most complete historic estates. It is home to a medieval Old Hall, a neo-classical mansion, 50 acres of landscaped gardens, 1000 acres of deer park and a rare breeds farm. Your included entrance ticket allows entry to the opulently decorated mansion, from the richness and grandeur of the State Apartments to the extensive Servants' Quarters and cellars for an intriguing glimpse of the domestic life of staff 'below stairs.
