Itinerary
Torquay & the Eden Project
Ready for a Torquay-tastic time by the sea? This delightful six-day holiday combines coastal charm, scenic outings and plenty of time to relax. Based in stylish Torquay, the jewel of the English Riviera, we'll enjoy sweeping sea views, rich local heritage and a breezy holiday atmosphere. We explore the postcard-perfect harbour town of Brixham, famous for its fishing boats and fresh seafood and spend a full day at the extraordinary Eden Project, home to the world's largest indoor rainforest. With time at leisure to stroll the promenade or sip tea by the bay, it's seaside bliss with a smile.

Torquay & the Eden Project
This morning, we enjoy time at leisure at the hotel to relax or explore the local area. In the afternoon, we head to Brixham, an attractive port with colourful fisher cottages on the surrounding hillsides. Explore the winding streets, snug with bustling arcades and gift shops. The horseshoe harbour is well worth a look too, being home to a replica of Sir Francis Drake's ship, the Golden Hind.

Torquay & the Eden Project
Built into the Cornish countryside, the Eden Project is often described as the Eighth Wonder of the World. This extraordinary place offers a deep dive into the world of plants and how they shape our lives. Housed within massive Biomes, the Eden Project simulates different environmental conditions, showcasing an incredibly diverse collection of flora from around the globe. From the steamy rainforests to the fragrant Mediterranean, the Eden Project is not just a feast for the senses but also an educational journey that emphasises the importance of sustainable living and environmental conservation.

Torquay & the Eden Project
Today, we enjoy a day at leisure to explore the charming seaside town of Torquay at your own pace. Nestled along the stunning English Riviera, Torquay offers a delightful blend of coastal beauty and elegant Victorian charm. Stroll along the palm-lined promenade, browse the boutique shops, or relax with a cream tea as you take in views of the sparkling bay. However you choose to spend the day, Torquay's relaxed pace and sea air are sure to refresh and inspire.

Torquay & the Eden Project
Our optional excursion takes us first to Dawlish, a quaint and friendly resort that was once a tiny fishing village until the Victorian Railway Age turned it into a thriving seaside town. It nestles between striking red sandstone cliffs overlooking a sandy beach, with the railway still running right alongside the seafront. We then make our way to Teignmouth, a handsome estuary town which has the benefits of a bustling harbour as well as the classic attractions of a seaside resort. It boasts an elegant Georgian crescent, promenade and Victorian pier with fine views across the bay.
