Itinerary
Isle of Wight Weekend
A long weekend by the sea beckons on this lovely escape to the Isle of Wight, peppered with quaint villages and charming towns amidst picturesque landscapes and an unspoilt coastline. Beloved since the reign of Queen Victoria, follow in the footsteps of royalty and relax at our base in a popular seaside resort and discover more island highlights during an optional trip. From the iconic chalky outcrop of The Needles to the country's oldest pier in Ryde, there's plenty to see!

Isle of Wight Weekend
For our included half-day excursion we enjoy a visit to the bustling capital of the island, Newport. This picturesque town centres on two squares surrounded by elegant Georgian and Victorian architecture. Explore the historic quayside or browse the selection of speciality shops here.

Isle of Wight Weekend
Our fantastic optional Island Highlights tour takes in this unique island's many famous sights, passing the pretty inland village of Godshill, famous for its charming thatched-roofed cottages and delightful medieval church. Look out for the quaint village of Chale before a photo stop at the iconic chalky outcrop, The Needles, the defining sight of the Isle of Wight. We continue to the historic port town of Yarmouth, which contains some of the oldest architecture on the island including a 16th-century castle, and lastly visit the seaside resort of Ryde, with its long stretch of beach, pretty esplanade, marina and beautiful gardens. Be sure to take a stroll along the famous 19th-century pier here, the oldest in England!
