A few miles north of popular holiday resort Great Yarmouth on the stunning Norfolk coastline, Hemsby is a lively village seaside resort. The village has a number of shops and attractive buildings, including the 12th century church of St. Mary the Virgin. Beach Road plays host to a range of eateries and amusements including a fun fair, bingo and crazy golf. Itinerary
Arrival Day: After joining the coach via one of our departure points or our executive Door2Door service, you will be introduced to your professional driver and whisked away in comfort to pretty Hemsby. We aim to arrive between 3-4pm so that you can relax before your evening meal and settle down for your first night.
Full Day Excursion: Today we set off for a day full of adventure as we take you for an unforgettable drive through Norfolk's stunning broads, a series of connected rivers and Lakelands that form one of the UK's most beautiful wetland areas. We journey up to pretty coastal town of Cromer, perched on the very edge of the north Norfolk coast. The resort is famed for its tasty crabs, wide open beaches, a traditional pier complete with theatre and traditional Victorian architecture housing many small independent shops. From here we journey back to Wroxham 'capital' of the Norfolk Broads and home to Roys, rumoured to be the world's largest village store.
Free Day in Resort: Free time to explore Hemsby and make use of the plentiful facilities on offer at Seacroft. Enjoy the daytime entertainment programme, have a game of indoor or outdoor bowls or take part in one of the organised competitions or classes.
Full Day Excursion: After breakfast we head for a lovely day in Great Yarmouth. Boasting 15 miles of beautiful, pristine beaches, a bustling promenade featuring two piers, bandstands, horse-drawn landaus' and an excellent town centre, it is clear to see why Great Yarmouth has been a popular holiday destination for many generations. The town also has a fabulous maritime heritage and a port famous for once being the hub of the herring industry, giving it perfectly combined elements of a traditional seaside resort with a modern twist.
Departure Day: Make the most of the wonderful food that is on offer for breakfast this morning. After a fabulous holiday, it's time to bid farewell to your hosts and Seacroft for your journey home, taking wonderful memories with you.
