Hidden on the North Yorkshire Coastline, Bridlington is an award-winning traditional seaside resort. Boasting two sandy beaches either side of the historic harbour and award-winning promenades, this is a true seaside gem. The harbour is a hive of activity with colourful fishing boats, pleasure cruises along the heritage coast and speedboat rides across the bay. Head away from the promenade and you will discover the 'old town' which has remained largely untouched and is home to delightful Olde Worlde pubs, antique shops and the 'Old Town Trail'.

Full Day Excursion: Today we head off for an enchanting tour of the spectacular North Yorkshire coast and 'Heartbeat' country and the North York Moors National Park. Our first port of call is the old seafaring town of Whitby with its famous connections to the explorer Captain Cook as well as the spine chilling book Dracula. From here we meander into the moors and deep valleys of 'Heartbeat' country where we come to Goathland, Aidensfield in the long running TV series, before descending to the ancient market town of Pickering.

Spend time perusing the antique shops and art galleries or take refreshments in the resorts tearooms or Olde Worlde pubs. It is also home to two of the worlds first purpose built hotels - the Grand and the Crown. After lunch we head back along the coast to the quieter resort of Filey with its golden sweep of soft, golden sand, Edwardian architecture, quirky shops and interesting museum.
