Itinerary
Torquay & the English Riviera
With its palm-lined promenades, stylish marina and classic seaside charm, Torquay offers a wonderful blend of relaxation and exploration. Alongside free time to enjoy the resort, discover Devon's highlights on the included excursions. Visit the pretty riverside town of Dartmouth, with its historic streets and scenic waterfront and experience the maritime heritage of Plymouth, a vibrant city packed with history, shops and attractions. Whether you're strolling along the coast, exploring new sights, or simply enjoying the hotel's comfort, this is a delightful escape by the sea.

Torquay & the English Riviera
We spend some time at leisure in the riverside town of Dartmouth. Known as the 'Jewel of the South Hams' and a former home to Agatha Christie, Dartmouth is easily one of Devon's prettiest destinations thanks to its views over the estuary.

Torquay & the English Riviera
Upon arrival in Plymouth, we enjoy some leisure time in this vibrant waterfront city, steeped in maritime history and buzzing with youthful energy thanks to its thriving university scene. Take a relaxing stroll along the historic Barbican and Hoe, where charming cobbled streets meet sweeping ocean views. Watch the boats bob in the harbour, breathe in the sea air and perhaps stop for a coffee or an ice cream from a local café.

Torquay & the English Riviera
Our optional excursion takes us first to Dawlish, a quaint and friendly resort that was once a tiny fishing village until the Victorian Railway Age turned it into a thriving seaside town. It nestles between striking red sandstone cliffs overlooking a sandy beach, with the railway still running right alongside the seafront. We then make our way to Teignmouth, a handsome estuary town which has the benefits of a bustling harbour as well as the classic attractions of a seaside resort. It boasts an elegant Georgian crescent, promenade and Victorian pier with fine views across the bay.
