Description

Discover the charm of three modes of travel in one seamless experience. We journey north by coach to the Lake District for a scenic ride on the Lakeside & Haverthwaite steam train, a distant memory of bygone years for some and a new experience for others. On arrival in Lakeside, we then take our seats for a relaxing cruise across Lake Windermere to Bowness, where you will have some free time to explore before we head home. A sprawling tourist town on the shore of Windermere, Bowness is a wonderful place just to relax and enjoy the atmosphere of the area and the town’s delightful setting. There are plenty of independent shops to explore, and tourist attractions such as Windermere Lake Cruises and World of Beatrix Potter.
