Description
Guernsey is a popular destination for visitors wishing to enjoy the mild climate and experience island life without travelling too far afield.
Guernsey combines a rich and fascinating history with a vibrant, modern culture. Enjoy the stunning scenery by wandering along the cliffs that inspired Renoir, or explore the unique 19th Century home of French writer Victor Hugo.
Included is a visit to Sark. Traffic-free, with stunning coastal views and a picturesque rural interior, Sark is easily reached by ferry from Guernsey in about 50 minutes. Rattle up the harbour hill in the legendary 'toast rack', a makeshift tractor-pulled minibus - an unforgettable experience for every visitor.
Itinerary
Day 1: We make our way to the ferry port to catch the ferry over to Guernsey. This is where our own coach will leave us. A local coach operator will collect us from the ferry port and take us to the hotel. A Roberts representative will travel with you from Hugglescote and throughout your stay on the island.

Day 2: This morning we depart the hotel for a full day island tour with a local operator to explore the beautiful scenery, beaches and look-out points. Visit the Little Chapel, beautifully decorated with seashells, pebbles and broken china and the Freesia Centre, to witness the various stages of the growing process together with the exotic fragrances, starting and finishing at the hotel with a local coach operator.

Day 3: We depart the hotel this morning for the transfer from the hotel to port for our sailing to Sark. We will be transferred by ‘tractor-train’ to Sark’s commercial centre, followed by a relaxing 1-hour carriage ride around the island. You will also have time at leisure before returning by boat back to St Peter Port.

Day 4: Today is your free day to explore the Island at leisure.

Day 5: Today is another free day.

Day 6: We depart the hotel where we transfer to St Peters Port. We will then catch the ferry back to the UK mainland, where our own coach will be ready to collect us and return us back to Leicestershire.
