Itinerary
Monday: We depart the Travel Centre this morning and make our way to Torquay with a stop en route, arriving at the hotel late afternoon.
Tuesday: Today we visit the beautiful seaside resort of Sidmouth. This Regency town has it all, from beautiful gardens to friendly independent shops, it’s no wonder it captivated the Poet Laureate, John Betjeman, who described it as ‘A town caught still in timeless charm’.
Wednesday: This morning we board the coach and head for Dartmouth where we catch the ferry to Greenway. Here, we take a glimpse into the lives of the famous and much-loved author, Agatha Christie and her family. Their relaxed, atmospheric holiday home is set in the 1950s when the family would spend time here. Please note: From Greenway Quay there’s a 10-minute woodland walk to Greenway visitor reception. The walk is steep in places, but there are benches along the route.
Thursday: Today is your free day to explore Torquay as you choose.
Friday: We bid a fond farewell to the hotel staff this morning as we make our way back to Hugglescote, with a stop en route.
