Bournemouth, Swanage Railway & the New Forest

Bournemouth, boasting seven miles of golden beach and clear blue sea, is a vibrant cosmopolitan town that has it all. Situated in the heart of Dorset on the south coast, it has one of this country's warmest climates. It is an ideal location from which to explore the local area, much of which are areas of outstanding natural beauty.Monday: We depart the Travel Centre this morning and make our way to Bournemouth with a stop en route, arriving at the hotel late afternoon.

Tuesday: Today we travel to Christchurch for some free time, before visiting the bustling Georgian town of Lymington. We continue via Brockenhurst to Lyndhurst, the ‘capital of the forest’ and the largest village in The New Forest.

Wednesday: This morning we head for Norden to join the Swanage Railway to Swanage station. There will be some free time in the coastal town of Swanage, located at the eastern end of the Jurassic Coast, a 95 mile stretch of outstanding geology in between Dorset and East Devon which is a World Heritage Site.

Thursday: Today is your free day to enjoy Bournemouth as you choose.

Friday: We bid a fond farewell to the hotel staff as we head back to Hugglescote today with a stop en route, arriving back late afternoon.Marsham Court Hotel
