Babbacombe & the Beautiful Coast of Devon

Described as Torbay's 'Jewel in the Crown', Babbacombe is a small friendly village, boasting its own promenade, theatre, shops & the world famous Babbacombe Model Village.
This is one of our most popular hotels that we feature in our brochure and always sells really quickly.Monday: We depart the Travel Centre this morning and make our way to Babbacombe with a stop en route. We aim to arrive at the hotel late afternoon.

Tuesday: This morning we board the coach for a coffee stop at Buckfast Abbey before we visit the coastal town of Teignmouth, a stunning resort with historic Georgian buildings, lovely high street stores and long sandy beaches.

Wednesday: Today we visit the beautiful town of Sidmouth. This Regency town has it all, from beautiful gardens to friendly independent shops and is said to be the ‘Jewel of Devon’. This seaside resort nestles in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the Jurassic Coast. It is no wonder it captivated the Poet Laureate, John Betjeman, who described it as ‘A town caught still in timeless charm’.

Thursday: This morning sees us visit the historic market town of Totnes, a town that sits in the heart of South Devon on the banks of the River Dart.

Friday: We bid a fond farewell to the hotel staff as we head back this morning to Hugglescote, arriving back late afternoon.Babbacombe Hotel
The Babbacombe Hotel enjoys a level position directly on the sea front overlooking the famous Babbacombe Downs with far reaching beautiful views across Lyme Bay. Many of the bedrooms have stunning sea views and some have private balconies.
All 80 bedrooms are en suite with tea/coffee making facilities. The hotel does have a lift but not to all rooms. There are some ground floor disabled rooms and also some disabled rooms on the first and second floors accessed via the lift.
