Guernsey by Air

In Guernsey, you will be welcomed by the charming mix of French and British influences. The chic capital of St Peter Port, a busy harbour since Roman times, is abundant with jewelers, boutiques, galleries, and cosmopolitan cafes and is considered one of Europe's prettiest harbour towns. Whilst on Guernsey, we will visit Herm, where you can take the chance to forget the day-to-day demands of modern living and embrace the island's tranquility. Just a short walk from the harbour is Herm Village, where you can explore the popular gift shops and tavern.Monday : We depart the Travel Centre this morning and make our way to Birmingham or East Midlands Airport* for our flight to Guernsey Airport, taking approximately an hour and fifteen minutes. You will be accompanied by a Roberts Travel Group Representative from the moment you leave Hugglescote, to the return journey back on Friday. On arrival at the airport, we will be met by a midi coach which will take us to our hotel for the next 4 nights, the 3-star Peninsula Hotel, located in a prominent seafront position.

Tuesday: Today we board a local midi coach for a full day island coastal tour of Guernsey. You will see many local places of interest.

Wednesday: Today is your free day to explore Guernsey as you choose.

Thursday: Today we take the 20-minute journey by ferry over to Herm Island. This beautiful island has clear waters, unspoilt beaches with spectacular views. In this pocket of the Channel Islands you will discover a unique destination with a landscape as diverse as its history.

Friday: After breakfast, we bid a fond farewell to the hotel and board our midi coach for our transfer to Guernsey Airport, flying into Birmingham or East Midlands Airport*, where our coach will be waiting to take us back to Hugglescote.Peninsula Hotel

The hotel is set in 5 acres of grounds in a prominent sea front position, located in the Vale Peninsula, in a residential area overlooking 2 sleepy fishing bays.

All 99 bedrooms are en suite with separate toilet, tea/coffee making facilities & television.
The hotel also has an outdoor swimming pool (heated in the summer months). A local bus service is available hourly to St Peter Port. Entertainment may be provided during the summer months but cannot be guaranteed. At present, the hotel doesn’t offer porterage from the transfer vehicle to rooms and you will be responsible for handling your own luggage.
