HIGHLIGHTS: Pensthorpe Nature Reserve, Blickling Hall, Norfolk Broads and Broads cruise, Norwich, Holt.
Under the dramatic wide-open skies of Royal Norfolk, spring heralds the arrival of an abundance of wildlife and fauna. It is a county with vast swathes of patchwork countryside, lit up with daffodils, bluebells, and all of the colours of the season, and a sensational coastline that attracts migrating birds from all over the world. Our base is the excellent Dunston Hall Hotel, just outside the fine city of Norwich, and tour highlights include visits to the award-winning Pensthorpe Nature Reserve, historic Blickling Hall and a cruise on the lovely Norfolk Broads too.

Excursions
FULL DAY: This morning to Blickling Hall, a fine Jacobean mansion with four centuries of history and lovely gardens including a sunken garden and secret garden, amid hosts of golden daffodils in Spring. This afternoon we head to the market town of Holt, with its charming centre and unique independent shops.
HALF DAY: Today we head to Pensthorpe Nature Reserve and Gardens, home to over 100 species of birds that bring the area to life throughout the year. BBC's Springwatch was filmed from here for many years due to the fascinating role it plays complimented by viewing facilities and trails that are suited to all.
FULL DAY: This morning into the Norfolk Broads where we take a cruise on these much revered waterways, teaming with wildlife. Later we return to Norwich with free time to explore this medieval city.

Joining Your Grand UK Coach Holiday
For 2024 we have introduced improvements to our network of local pick up points across the eastern, central and southern England, aimed at shortening your journey times and getting you away on holiday more easily and conveniently, meaning an altogether more relaxing start. We now have two pick up regions so your travel days will be more convenient, providing more efficient journeys, meeting your tour manager and fellow travellers earlier and in most cases arriving in resort earlier, please refer to our Pick-ups section below for more details.
The Tour Ref below indicates whether the tour departs from Area A or Area B by having either an A or B at the end. For example, GUK5A would be a tour departing from Area A.

Traveling from Departure Area A: Be picked up from your free local departure point, and join your tour coach at our interchange area at Northampton Services on the M11, at junction 15A.
Traveling from Departure Area B: Be picked up from your free local departure point, and join your tour coach at our interchange area at Beaconsfield Services, M40, junction 2.
