Enjoy a relaxing break on the beautiful English Riviera, staying in the ever-popular resort of Torquay. From our comfortable base at the traditional Livermead House Hotel, we’ll explore some of South Devon’s most charming destinations, including the bustling fishing town of Brixham and the picturesque riverside towns of Totnes and Dartmouth. A scenic cruise along the River Dart offers a wonderful way to admire the area from the water, while a day at leisure gives you time to enjoy Torquay at your own pace. On our journey home, we round off our Devon escape with a visit to the delightful seaside town of Sidmouth.Monday: Following a morning departure we travel through the West Country into Devon and onto Torquay, making the usual refreshment stops en-route. During the afternoon we arrive at the Livermead House Hotel. Here we spend four nights. The hotel is family owned and prides itself on traditional values and its silver service restaurant.

Tuesday - Wednesday: During our stay in Torquay we have included various excursions, they are a morning visit to the popular town of Brixham, the riverside towns of Totnes and Dartmouth, with a cruise on the River Dart. We also have a day at leisure.

Friday: This morning we leave our hotel and commence the homeward journey. We make a stop in the popular coastal resort of Sidmouth, later we continue our journey, arriving home by late afternoon.
