Weston super Mare

For a quieter beach experience why not wander to Marine Cove, a small cove where you can stroll from the cove onto Knightstone Island or along the Causeway. Why not visit Weston Museum for a hands on history from the pre-historic age right up to the 21st Century. You can also discover the art, media and culture of this quintessentially English seaside resort. Referred to as the gateway to Exmoor, pretty Minehead is a fantastic seaside resort. There are beaches to explore, a fishing quarter and an historic harbour. There's a 14th Century church on the hill and the much-photographed historic Church Steps. Take a walk down the tree-lined Avenue and visit the selection of tea rooms, pubs and independent shops in the town centre

Cheddar Gorge
