Up to 40 runners and riders must complete full circuits of a unique 2¼ mile (3,600 metres) course, in front of 150,000 spectators at Aintree Racecourse (as well as an estimated worldwide TV audience of 600 million across over 140 countries!). Aintree, on the outskirts of Liverpool has hosted the Grand National Festival since 1839.\n\nThe Festival Zoneis the largest and most atmospheric enclosure at Aintree, with access to view the Parade Ring, Winners Enclosure and Red Rum Lawn.\n\nBlackpool - With its many visitor attractions, traditional seaside charm and award-winning beaches, it's not surprising that so many holidaymakers visit this popular resort.\n\nThe Caledonian Tower Hotel -In the resort that never sleeps, you'll get a great night's sleep here. The Festival Zone is the largest and most atmospheric enclosure at Aintree - offering a relaxed experience with views over the closing stages of every race including The Grand National.\n\n
Your zone pass gives you access to a lot
While your Festival Zone Pass does not give you full access to the racecourse - it does however give you access to a lot! Live music and entertainment, plenty of food, drink, betting facilities and big screens are found throughout the area.\n\n
You'll have the opportunity to get a good look at the runners before you place your bets (at the Parade Ring), as well as access to the winner's enclosure (where the winning horses are reunited with their owners and trophies are presented).\n\n
And it's got the best places to drink!
You'll get access to The Irish Bar, which has screens and betting facilities of its own, as well as the iconic Red Rum Garden, a hive of activity and entertainment - complete with Red Rum statue, a tribute to the most iconic winning horse at Aintree.

\nHotel Accessibility\n\nAccess to the ground floor via ramp from outside, but once inside there are steps to all areas including the lift (5 steps) and disabled toilet (2 steps)

- Lift is on one side of the building so may be a long walk to some rooms.
- Guests with mobility issues should make a request for a room close to a lift (cannot not guaranteed )
- No ground floor rooms available
- On bedroom landings there are some steps to encounter as you move away from the lift
- Majority of rooms have shower over bath
- Ample storage facilities for wheelchairs/scooters and the hotel provides free charging for scooters
- Hotel works with a local form for hiring scooters/equipment, if the customer contacts the hotel directly, they can arrange hire/delivery.
