Enjoy a day at leisure in the medieval walled town Caernarfon, home to Wales' most famous castle and an UNESCO World Heritage Site just a few hundred yards away from our hotel. We return to the hotel to enjoy tea, coffee and mince pies, and dinner tonight is followed by bingo and a quiz.

'Christmas Day'
This morning we journey to Anglesey and make a short photo stop at the world-famous Llanfair PG, before continuing to the seaside town of Beaumaris for our lunch break. You could stroll along the seafront, taking in the pier and the views over the Menai Strait and Snowdonia; or through the charming streets with their picturesque cottages, many painted in soft pastel colours. There are plenty of shops to browse and a world heritage Castle that is worth a visit. Christmas dinner is included this evening.

'Boxing Day'
After breakfast, we journey to the walled market town of Conwy, where you have some time at leisure to relax and explore. Highlights of this beautiful town include the vibrant quay and the imposing 13th-century Castle that offers spectacular views. The romantic Celtic Royal Hotel is nicely situated in Caernarfon town centre, just a 10-minute walk from the Harbour. A venue steeped in history, the hotel got its Royal name from Princess Victoria, when she visited the original main building in 1832, 5 years before she became Queen.
